As an HBA member you have a voice at the local, state and national level of government. Our Executive Officer, Elizabeth Salkind who is an attorney and experienced lobbyist, represents our industry at the local level. In the same manner, our state affiliate, Colorado Association of Home Builders’ Executive Director Rob Nanfeldt and several contract lobbyists monitors and influences the legislative, regulatory and judicial processes. Our national affiliate, the National Association of Home Builders, has a full staff working on all relevant national issues. Without our continual participation in government affairs, the contribution that the construction industry makes to the local, state and national economies can be quickly forgotten.
